The information provided below is intended to help riders select a ride most suited to their ability and needs. If you have not ridden with us before and you’re not sure which ride is most suitable for you, just drop us an email or message us through our Facebook group and we will contact you for a chat (you can email us through the ‘Contact’ page of the website). Coming to visit us at our Club House in Victoria Park Rotten Row in Southport on Mondays from 7:00 pm is also a great place to start – click here for location of our club house.

SCC INTERMEDIATE (INTERS) RIDE
Meet:- Criffel Stone 8.30am.
Tarleton lower light’s 9am.
Avg speed:- around 16 mph.
Approx: 65 miles.
Route:- Announced via Email, the SCC Rides WhatsApp and Facebook 2 to 3 days before the ride.
SCC SHORT RIDE
Meet:- Criffel Stone 9:30am
Avg speed:- 13 to 15 mph
Approx:- 40 miles.
Mostly flat.

SUNDAY
SCC BLACKGATE LANE (BGL) A Group RIDE
Meet:- Blackgate Lane 9am.
Distance Approx.:- 70 miles.
Avg speed:- between 16 to 19 mph.
Route and destination – Announced on the day, but usually goes north of Preston to places such as Chipping, Scorton, Lytham, Waddington and Ribchester.
