A total of 59 entries were received, and 44 riders ( 9 SCC) faced the starter on a very hot and breezy afternoon.
The event was won by Luke Jackson of Harry Middleton CC with a time of 55.20
George Elliot of Innovation Racing was fastest Junior (16) and third overall with a time of 57.21
Fastest Lady was Hannah Macdonald with a time of 1.02.14
David Gamble of Bury Clarion was best on Handicap with a net time of 40.45
Coveryourcar.co.uk Racing Team took the team prize.
Best Southport Rider was Karl Addison ( 5th overall) with a time of 58.46 and wins the Norman Smith Trophy. Karl was also best SCC rider on Handicap and so takes the Norman Rimmer trophy as well.
I wish to give massive vote of thanks to all of the officials, marshals and competitors who took part on a day when there were many other attractions taking place.
