Result of evening 10 mile TT – Thursday 5th April

A big thanks to all who took part and to all the marshals and helpers. Nine SCC riders came under starters orders and finished.  It was pleasing to see 2 lady riders and 2 Junior riders taking part.  Well done to Claudia in her first event. We also had a full complement of  6 Marshals at key points on the course to comply with the risk assessment.  Please note, because of the almost full permitted field of 40 riders, and fading daylight for the later starters, next weeks event will also start at 6.45pm.  All competitors are strongly urged to have an effective rear ( flashing red) light on their bike – it is a CTT Recommendation. If visibility / daylight is not good, the officials can refuse to let later starters ride if they do not have a rear light. Rider Safety is Paramount!
