I am sad to report the passing of Mike WILKINSON (R.I.P) a former club member during the 1960’s…
Mike was an immensely talented rider who excelled at cyclo cross racing. In 1961/2 has was runner up twice in the National Cyclo Cross Championships. He was also a prolific road rider and had numerous road race victories during his time with the club and was Club Junior Road Race Champion.
He is pictured following we believe to be Cyril Barton during a race in Williamson Park, Lancaster in the 1960’s. Funeral details not yet known.
