Jim Henderson rules the Uphill

Big starting effort to get moving

The North Lancashire Road Club promoted hill climb on the Nick o’Pendle took place on Sunday 18th October. A field of 25 took the start and Jim Henderson (5 times National Hill Climb Champion) came home the winner in a time of 3 mins 56 secs.

John Findley (also a SCC member) riding for High on Bikes was in 6th place in 4mins 19 secs.

Jim (and john) will be riding in the National Hill climb championship on Sunday October 25th.

Presentation to the Winner

240 riders from 10.30am to 2.30pm will ride up the 0.9-mile Jackson Bridge course, near Holmforth in Yorkshire, dealing with an average gradient of 11 per cent.
