At last Tuesday’s committee meeting we briefly discussed introducing an Additional Saturday Ride. This came about because a number of members have indicated that they would be interested in a ride on Saturdays which had the following features:
An 8:30 start. This would operate from March 1st to October 31st.
A distance of 50/60 miles with the occasional longer route.
A variety of routes to include some hilly rides.
Outline routes for each ride to be posted on website during week prior to ride.
It has been suggested that we consider the starting point for these rides. Two suggestions have been made (a) Start the rides at the Pump Station and Ainsdale Police Station on alternate weeks (b) Start the rides at the Club House.
The 9:30 ride would not be affected.
