2021 Time Trial Season

CTT have given guidance that Time Trial activity in England can resume from 29th March subject to certain conditions being met.

Our Regular ‘Club’ events can resume, with riders from other clubs welcome.

The first event of the season will be a 10 Mile TT on 15th April at 19.01  ( signing on from 18.00 to 18.45)

As we still have to be Covid Compliant, we have planned a Pre Season ‘Briefing’ for Thursday 8th April at 6.30 pm at Mere Brow Village Hall Car Park so that all key personnel know what is expected – particularly regarding procedures at the event HQ before and after the event, and also at start and finish.  We have a new batch of Hi Viz bibs (printed with Southport CC – Race Marshal) and they will be distributed to the ‘key’ officials and regular course marshals.  People will then keep them for the duration of the season.

Volunteer marshals are always welcomed, and even if you don’t think you will be able to help out on a regular basis, the more people we have, the more successful our events will be.

We’re also looking for a couple of extra people who can be trained as assistant timekeepers.  (No dark arts involved other than the ability to work the stopwatch, write down numbers, and do some very basic mental arithmetic!)

The Time Trials section of the website has been updated.
