Once again we’re offering a choice of two rides, both of which will be heading to Velo Cafe in Croston. One will be at quicker pace with more hills, while the other will take a flatter route at a more steady easy going pace.
Meet clubhouse 8:30, then Ainsdale police station 8:45.
a) The Lumpy way via Ashurst, Gathurst, Appley Bridge and down the Ever Rising Road. About 50 miles,
b) The Flat way via Clieves, Aughton, Bickerstaffe, Ring o’ Bells, Mawdesley. About 50 miles, steady pace.
RIDE TO THE EUREKA CAFE: SUNDAY NOVEMBER 18th
The traditional club ride to this famous cycling cafe, via the Mersey Tunnel, departs from Ainsdale Police Station at 9:00 am on Sunday 18th. It’s about a 120 k ride at a steady pace (no drop). Riders will need lights for the Tunnel.
