Another fine warm night saw 34 riders face the starter.
Fastest on the night was Tony Greenhalgh of Team Tactic UK with a 21.19
Fastest Southport rider was young Joe Wilson with an impressive 22.34 for a 16 year old – on a Road Bike.
Tom Williams made a fine start to his campaign this season with a 22.50.
Arthur Winstanley of Liverpool Phoenix unfortunately crashed at Mere Brow R/A at the start of his second lap, however it was pilot error, and apart from a bit or road rash and wounded pride he was able to make his way back to the HQ unaided.
Unfortunately we had to DQ our Karl Addison and Wigan Wh’s Nigel Clementson who fell foul of a new (May 2021) local regulation by Liverpool District CTT that prohibits the use of tri-bar extension whilst negotiating roundabouts.
