Despite doing a sub 22 minute ride, the provisional winner was subsequently disqualified for crossing the white line at the junction of North Rd and Carr House Lane. It is a safety issue, and we apply this rule strictly and without favour!
The good news is that four SCC members were faster than 24 minutes – and last years runaway points champ Martin Bailey was on marshalling duty. Robbie Hurst was fastest SCC rider with a time of 22.50, beating new member Karl Addison by 2 seconds.
Nine SCC members took part last night, bringing the total of members riding the events so far to 24.
