Request for assistance – University of Central Lancashire

My name is Laura Nichols (Graduate project officer and investigator in the school of psychology at UCLAN) working under the supervision of Dr Vaithehy Shanmugam (Supervisor) at the University of Central Lancashire.  We are currently conducting a research project on Mental Health in Athletes and the General Population.

This research aims to further our understanding of Mental Health in sport performers by examining athletes’ state of mind. Findings from this research could help with raising awareness of the prevalence of self-harming behavior and suicide ideation in athletes’ and aid further research and potential interventions.
I am contacting you to ask if you could pass on the details/weblink of the study to any of your athletes ages 16 and over, who would be willing to participate in this project it would be greatly appreciated.
