Given the number of people turning up on Saturday mornings if we continue to use the “Plough” bus stop we will soon have complaints that we are blocking the stop for bus users/ blocking the pavement ./ generally a nuisance to non cyclists.
Colin, Ken and I had a look at alternatives the other day and we will be using :
Open area on Banks Road opposite to the Pumping Station entrance. See map below
This will start with effect from this Saturday (11th July) There is an area with no houses, a turn in where people can congregate and a safer start point for moving off in a number of separated groups without the hazard of negotiating the Plough roundabout.
