On behalf of the club I recently contacted Sefton Sports Council regarding their Annual Awards and have put forward our Club Hon. Secretary Ken Beck for consideration.
In the content of my submission I pointed out he has been a member for 60 years and secretary for 35 years, in addition to organising the Dolan Youth races and everything relating to Youth and new members alike and much more.
The Awards night is being held at the Floral Hall on Wednesday 12th JULY at 6:30pm, tickets are £18 each. Ken gets a free one.
I feel he deserves the support of his clubmates on the night and if you could attend it would be appreciated. I will be suggesting to the committee that tickets be paid or subsided by the club on this auspicious occasion. I will arrange the tickets.
