Evening Time Trials

The end of the season is rapidly approaching  with only 3 (possibly 4) events left.

A number of riders appear to have have posted Personal Bests  – there is an award for the rider with most PB’s in the Season

Currently Leader in the 10 Mile Points series is Ken Addison, followed by Neil Laing, however Neil has accumulated more points overall having ridden both of the  15 Mile TT’s.

The Female title looks to be a close affair with Carole James and Melissa Moscrop looking as though they  are the only ones able to get enough qualifying events in before the season  ends

Remember to qualify for any award, riders need to ride 6 events or Ride 4 and Marshal 2 events.

Due to the roadworks at Tarleton, it’s not been possible to hold any  25’s this year, however we have been able to hold a couple of 15 Mile TTs instead and the new D33/15 course looks to work well.  It’s the only approved 15 Mile TT course in the North  west, and is a Vet’s championship distance – so I’m planning on  holding an Open 15 next year in conjunction with the VTTA and it will be a regional VTTA championship.

I’m currently looking at the possibility of revising the 25 Mile Course to compensate for the new road Junction arrangement at Tarleton – so watch this space.  We might even be  able to have a club 25 mile  championship again next year.
