Results of last night’s 25.
21 riders turned up on a warm but blustery night that took the edge off a lot of times. There were a number of DNF’s meaning that only 4 SCC riders picked up points.
We were down to the bare bones for marshalling, but managed to cope 25m TT 27 jun 19thanks to our reliable group of septugenarions and octegenarions with help from regular rider Lindsey Ackers of Croston Velo, and former club member and Russian escapologist Matt Burdekin.
Following the event a few of the riders and officials were able to enjoy some well earned refreshment in the Bar at the Village Hall, where SCC members and guest riders are always welcome.
Next week is a 10, and we could do with a couple of additional volunteers to marshal at Mere Brow and Banks roundabouts. I will be away, and Pete Leonard will be producing the results.
