Thanks to all of the competitors and marshals who made tonight’s event a great success ( and all of the other events throughout the season ).

I’ll be collating the points competition over the next day or so, and will post full results in due course.
Special Congratulations look as though they are due to Madeleine Scott for breaking the club record for the fastest 10 mile TT by a Southport lady with a time of 24.00 exactly. The previous best of 24.21 was apparently set in 1971 by Maggie Biggs
At the moment the record is provisional and has to be verified against old club records.

PS Maddie, my Garmin is always a couple of seconds out as well, but the timekeepers watches have been certified as accurate by CTT and being a timekeeper myself have no reason to doubt it, also we have 2 timekeepers recording the time on separate watches and separate sheets. I put the discrepancy down to the fact that the Garmin takes a couple of seconds to register motion after a standing start
