I am having a thinning out of my stock of bikes. The Cedar Farm regulars will have seen most of them over the years and know how well I look after my bikes.
All are small/medium in size with varying lengths of seat tube depending on the frame style. All have top tube/virtual top tube length of around 54 cm.
Dolan Ares. Red black white carbon frame with Campag Chorus 11 speed and Fulcrum carbon chainset 53/39 172.5 cranks. Mavic Cosmic wheels. Deda bars stem. Fizik saddle. Very little use. It was my race bike but hasn’t been raced very much. It is in excellent condition.
Dolan Tuona. Black white carbon frame. Campag Chorus 11 speed complete groupset. 53/39 172.5 cranks. Mavic Aksiums. Deda bars stem Fizik saddle. Very good condition again not ridden much. Could also sell it with ultegra di2 or manual groupset.
Dolan Dual. Green white black. Carbon winter bike with mudguards. Shimano 105 10 speed. Deda Fizik etc. Used a lot but all components are in excellent condition. Frame has some scuffs. Price will reflect condition. Best winter bike I’ve ever had . £400 ish
Dolan Aurora . Red black white carbon frame. Integral seat pin cut to give a saddle height of 710mm centre of bracket to top of saddle. Some slight increase in height possible using shims but it will be too small for anyone taller than 5ft 9.
Campag Chorus 11 speed. Fulcrum 53/39 172.5 cranks. Ambrosio wheels.
Paint is showing signs of deterioration but bike is very sound. Price will reflect this. A good winter bike or training bike, its getting on a bit but is sound so cheap at £350
Trek 4500 Mountain bike. Standard size wheels. XTR gears with triple chainset.
Bought it when I retired 6 years ago but have hardly ridden it so it is in almost new condition. Mainly black but with red an white. Aluminium frame, good quality forks that you can lock out with a little lever on the bars.
Dolan Forza track frame in red and blue custom paint. Immaculate condition and with several BC Masters Championships to its name. A thing of great beauty.
Mavic Ellipse track wheels. Vittoria Zaffiro hps. Good on Manchester Velodrome. Hardly ever used them because I prefer tubs on the track. As new condition.
Xtreme 90mm deep rim carbon sprint rims. Veloflex tubs. Campag and Shimano casette bodies. (Very easy to change bodies).
Very light and very fast time trial wheels with hardly any use. I think I have ridden two Rainford 10s and a Pimbo Road Race on them. Less than 100 miles in total. Good for triathlons also.
I also have a collection of steel vintage bikes and frames that I would be prepared to let go to a good home. These include a Hill Special, Pennine, Mercian, Dancelli, Gios, Scapin, Chesini, Guerciotti Concorde and Raleigh. All are in beautiful condition with period groupsets in most cases.
