Following the death of Alex Baxter in January the club has received a donation of £513 from a collection at his funeral. At his request, the family have also given a Trophy to the club in his memory.
At the meeting Alex Baxters wife, Janet, will be at the clubroom to formerly present the club with the Alex Baxter Memorial Trophy. This will be used as the Mens RR trophy which is awarded annually to the senior club rider with the most points on the BC website.
Light refreshments and drinks will be available during the evening
Note: The Ben Gautrey Foundation Charity ride will this year be on 15th September starting as usual from Meols Hall
