Sign on will be located at the rear of the Village Hall. £10 per team *Cash only,
with all profits being donated to Derian House Children’s Hospice.
Parking available, so please do not park on the main road.
Please note, there are no changing facilities. Please arrive race ready. Toilets
are available at the HQ.

COMPETITOR’S NOTES
Road Bikes or TT Bikes are both acceptable for this event.
Sign on/off
Each competitor must sign on when collecting and returning their race
numbers at the HQ. Any rider not signing off within a reasonable time of the
finish of the event will be recorded as DNF. Any rider under 18 will require a
parental consent form
Numbers
Back numbers must be worn for the event. Numbers must be fixed to the
lower back area. There will be number checkers on the course. Any rider

whose number is not visible to the timekeeper and checkers may not be given
a finishing time. Make sure you shout your number at the finish.
Lights
A front and read light is required on each bike – no exceptions
Start/Finish line
Start is approx. 2 miles away from the HQ, at Fear.Lives.Clay (What 3 words)
Riders must not make ‘U’ turns within sight of start and finish. Any rider
observed making a ‘U’ turn in contravention of this regulation could be
disqualified from the event.
No pusher off at the start, teams to set off under their own power, carefully,
checking traffic coming from behind – do not pull out dangerously into traffic.
Teams
Teams of 2 to wear the same or similar coloured clothing.
Do not use TRI Bars whilst navigating roundabouts, which you will encounter
on 5 occasions.
Individuals must stay within 3 metres of their partner at all times, unless
unsafe to do so.
Drafting from other teams is not allowed.
Give way to traffic on the right at roundabouts.
No lights or no helmet = no ride.
This is non-negotiable.
