28th May – 25 Mile TT CANCELLED

The TT on Thursday 28 May was scheduled to be a 25 miles event, however there are temporary traffic lights on the course at Holmeswood. This gives rise to safety issues and as a result the event is CANCELLED. We will revert to our standard Thursday format and hold a 10 miles event instead.

SCC Club 10 – Thursday 23rd April

Another fine evening saw a field of 43 riders take the start. Mike Lloyd completed his first TT on his road bike and David Unsworth (one of our Juniors riders) made it round the course after last weeks “off piste” effort. Results on the Time Trials results page.

SCC Club 10 – Thursday 16th April

A cold North Easterly wind did not stop a good turn out with 45 riders taking the start. Fastest on the night was R. Pike (High on Bikes) with Peter Leonard the fastest SCC rider in 23.25.

We need more volunteers! If you have not marshalled before do not worry – it is not difficult

If you have not ridden with us before and you’re not sure which ride is most suitable for you, just drop us an email or message us through our Facebook group and we will contact you for a chat (you can email us through the ‘Contact’ page of the website).

Coming to visit us at our Club House in Victoria Park Rotten Row in Southport on Mondays from 7:30 pm is also a great place to start - click here for location of our club house.
