Saturday April 8:30 Rides 

Here are the proposed rides for this month…please note that one of the rides, the Jubilee Tower, is on Good Friday.

SATURDAY April 1st THE EVER RISING ROAD

A 45/55 mile flat ride, apart from the climb up the Ever Rising Road.
Club House 8:30; Plough 8:45; Tarleton; Leyland; Eccleston; Cedar Farm. Optional return routes: (a) Short route via Burscough (b) For those who want to do a longer ride, return via Ashurst and Clieves Hill.

SATURDAY April 8th RIVINGTON VIA ANGLEZARK

A 62 mile ride, incorporating about 2,700 ft climbing. Some sharp climbs around Anglezark. (Option for grimpeurs to ascend to summit of Winter Hill whilst the rest of the group have coffee). Return via Red Rocks and Standish.
Meet Club House 8:30; Plough 8:45.

FRIDAY April 14th (GOOD FRIDAY) JUBILEE TOWER RIDE

A 105 mile ride (from the Plough) which follows the route of the former Bill Bradley ride. A flat ride to Scorton, followed by a section of 3 climbs which include Jubilee Tower and Waddington Fell. Thereafter, a steady ride through the Trough to Preston and flat all the way thereafter. Two café stops.
Meet Club House 8:30; Plough 8:45; Blackgate Lane 9:00. If anyone wants to join at a different location just let me know.

SATURDAY April 22nd TOUR OF ASHURST

A 53 mile ride which includes a circular tour of Ashurst Beacon before proceeding for coffee at Cedar Farm. Grimpeurs wishing to increase their mileage have the option of returning home via Ashurst.
Meet Club House 8:30; Ainsdale Police Station 8:45.

SATURDAY April 29th TOCKHOLES

A 65 mile ride. Steady to Brindle then some short climbs before long drag up to Tockholes, followed by descent into Belmont, climb over Winter Hill, coffee at the Tea Rooms in Rivington, flat route home.
