Saturday December 2nd. Saswick.
Where? An exciting new venue for coffee and cake! It’s deep into the Fylde; pan flat route; about 60 miles. Club house at 8:30, Plough at 8:45. Oh, and it’s Neil Langridge’s birthday so expect……
Saturday December 9th. Rainford Ramble.
A 50 mile easy ride around the lanes, before nipping over Ashurst and down to Cedar for coffee. Meet club house at 8:30, Ainsdale 8:45.
Saturday December 16th. Light Ash.
Another pan flat ride to the cake mecca of the Fylde. About 60 miles. Meet club house at 8:30, Plough 8:45.
CANCELLED DUE TO ICY CONDITIONS. Sunday:December 17th. Third Sunday Ride: Rivington via Red Rock.
A rolling 60 mile ride at a social pace led by Alan Stark. Plough 9:00, Tarleton lights 9:20.
Saturday December 23rd. Mince Pie ride to the Velo Cafe, via Ashurst, Gathurst and the Ever Descending Road.
An up and down 50 mile ride with Christmas fare at the Velo Cafe. Club house 8:30; Ainsdale 8:45.
Tuesday December 26th. Christmas Time Trial.
A fun event which takes place on the coastal road between Birkdale and Ainsdale. Everyone welcome, it’s not too serious.
Starts club house at 9:30.
Saturday December 30th: ‘Out with the old, in with the new’ ……..ride to Cedar Farm.
A pleasant 50 mile ride to end the year which takes in the Ever Rising Road. Mainly flat with a slight kick up the Ever Rising Road, then coffee and reminiscences at Cedar.
Monday January 1st: New Year’s Day Ride to the Ironmen
A social ride on paths and trails from the clubhouse to the Ironmen in Crosby. Mountain bikes or hybrids advisable for this multi-terrain excursion. Meet club house at 9:30.
