The Club will be running youth races (boys & girls ages 8 to 16) at Victoria Park on Saturday 23rd March. Setting up of the circuit will begin at 8.00 am. This involves placing safety barriers around the circuit and putting up a gazebo and other equipment at the finishing line. Racing begins at around 9.00 am and is due to finish at lunchtime.
We like to have a marshal on each corner in case of any incidents and to keep the circuit clear.
We have around 100 children who have entered the races. We’d like to make this a safe and successful event for them, and for us as a Club.
If anyone is able to help out for all or just part of the morning, it would be greatly appreciated. Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided.
