Last year the Committee introduced a scheme to make a contribution to the expenses of members marshalling at events. The money was to be claimed at the end of the year or to be donated to MacMillan Cancer Support.
The scheme did not prove a success in attracting/ encouraging more members to come along and help. However, members who did help can now claim their entitlement by submitting details of the events at which they marshalled, with dates etc. to Peter Scott (Treasurer) utilising membership@southportcc.co.uk. Peter will check any claims and make appropriate payment.
The committee have confirmed that any monies not claimed by the end of March will be donated to MacMillan.
