Ashurst Beacon. First rider starts 10.31
Meet at junction of Lees Lane at 10.00 am
Club Hill Climb – Sunday 30th October – Ashurst Beacon. Details as follows. It’s a Club Confined event – SCC members only – no entry fee – though as it’s under CTT regs, the club will have to pay a levy of £2 per rider. Any members over age 12 can take part. The only real stipulations are that bikes must have front and rear lights, and riders must wear an approved cycling helmet. (CTT Regs)
Meet at junction of Lees Lane and Higher Lane for signing on 10am – first rider starts just after 10.30 am.
For those riding out to either compete, marshal or just cheer on the riders, probably meet at the Criffel Stone for 9am.
After the event adjourn to the Velo Cafe for refreshments.
