Colin holds up his Soigneur accreditation
Colin Baldwin aka El Presidente has worked with numerous pro cycling teams over the years as a soigneur, looking after the riders with pre and post-race massage, nutrition, and driving casualties to hospital. This summer, Colin worked as soigneur with Team Rapha Condor JLT at the Tour of Britain, and gave an entertaining and informative talk at the clubroom in his inimitable style.
Members attending were also pleased to be offered a selection of freebies that Colin had somehow acquired from various teams on the race, including bidons, musettes, caps, gels and tee-shirts.
Mention was also made of Margaret Biggs for her epic sub 5 hr 100 mile TT for Team Bader Amputees.
