SCC are affiliated to Litherland Circuit League and carry out admin duties on 5 evenings. Racing is for all age groups. If you can help please let a committee member know.
Info for Riders
Riders must register with the Litherland Circuit League before they race. Registration fees for riders in clubs/teams affiliated to the LCL are: Youth D/E: Free Youth A/B/C: £3 Juniors/Women/Seniors: £5 Registration fees for riders in clubs/teams not affiliated to the LCL are: Youth D/E: Free Youth A/B/C: £5 Juniors/Women/Seniors: £10 Registrations can be completed on the night of the event but it is preferable if they are completed prior to the rider’s first night of attendance. Further information on the MCDG website. Every race is entry on the day only.

The annual outing to the Eureka cafe. Leaving Ainsdale police Station at 9.00.am. Into Liverpool and through the Mersey Tunnel, across the Wirral to the famous Eureka cafe.(50km) Suitably refreshed, a visit to New Brighton for an ice cream or tea/ coffee if we want to stop. Then along the Wallasey promenade with views of the Liverpool waterfront. Return through the Tunnel to Ainsdale.

This year on Saturday at the Bold Hotel with a start time of 6.00. pm. for drinks and the meal at 6.15.pm.
Tickets available from Aaron at the club room or can be purchased on the web site. Payment is by secure payment utilising Paypal. You can pay with a credit or debit card (or your Paypal account) but you DO NOT NEED to have or open a Paypal account to pay.
Extracts from the Club Constitution
The Club shall hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) every year, normally in December. Notice of the AGM shall be posted on the Club Notice board and on the Club web-site four weeks before the date of the meeting. Proposals for consideration at the AGM must be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the AGM. Rules may only be added or amended at the AGM or at an Extraordinary General Meeting. The Agenda for the AGM shall contain a list of elected positions with existing holders, showing those positions which are Vacant or which will be Vacant as the existing holder no longer wishes to stand and a list of the proposals to be considered. The Agenda shall be posted on the Club Notice board and on the Club web-site two weeks before the date of the meeting.
Currently elected officials may stand for re-election without nomination. Nominations for positions where the existing holder intends to stand for re-election must be received by post or e-mail one week before the AGM. Nominations for Vacant positions as stated on the Notice of the AGM may be made by e-mail or in writing at any time before the AGM or in person at the meeting. Nominations should state the name of the member proposed, the name of the proposer and seconder and the consent of the proposed person to be nominated. If no candidate is elected at the AGM, the Committee may, subsequent to the AGM, appoint such members as it may think fit.
A short, hilly ride of about 52 miles. The route involves a number of hills including the famous Nick of Pendle which features in the ‘100 Best Climbs’ and is often used for hill climb championships.
