A short, hilly ride of about 52 miles. The route involves a number of hills including the famous Nick of Pendle which features in the ‘100 Best Climbs’ and is often used for hill climb championships.
Steady ride, no drop. Two cafe stops (a) Clitheroe, (b) Sabden.

This annual ride takes in some Trough of Bowland highlights and involves 3 climbs – Jubilee Tower, The Trough and Waddington Fell. The total climbing is 1400 metres.
There will be a choice of routes.
Long route: start in Southport at 8:00. This route will be about 110 miles. It will join the short route at Bilsborrow.
Short route: start in car park on A6 just before Bilsborrow at 9:30. This route is 55 miles and includes all of the climbs.
There will be two cafe stops and no one left behind.
Let Geoff know if you plan to ride. It’s a fabulous route through some stunning scenery.
Sunday May 12th Lancashire Lanes Undulating ride. About 85 miles.
Southport CC members will be competing for the Neil Smith and Norman Rimmer trophies for fastest Male and Female rider
