Weather forecast has improved for tomorrow so a few members are driving out to Chester to do a ride in North Wales.
If anyone would like to join the meeting point is outside Rossett Hall Hotel in Rossett.

Meet at 8.30 for a 9.00 start.
Two groups…. a steady group and a steadier group. Option of a 48 or 62 mile route. Some big climbs including Horseshoe Pass and the brutal Penbarras. Both routes also ride through Panarama Walks… with beautiful views on a clear day ☀????.

SCC Hill Climb Championship. (SCC members only)
Signing on from 11am at the junction of Lees Lane and Higher Lane (post box). First rider starts 11.40
Refreshments for riders, helpers, marshals and other club members in the Prince William pub following the event.
Reminder to Junior / Youth riders (age 12+ to U18) that they need to have a signed parental consent form. ( We will already hold forms for those who have ridden TT’s or took part in last years event)
Here’s hoping for a fine day and a good turnout. Club members who are not taking part are more than welcome to ride out and lend their vocal support to the riders.

Just a reminder, the Downhill / Freewheeling contest for the highly coveted Shield takes place this Sunday 20th October at Bleasedale. *Leaving the Plough at around 9.15 am / Blackgate Lane 9.30am. Choice of cafes – Cobble Hey, Chipping or Scorton — destination decided on the day! Looks like it might be fine, so hopefully a good turnout.

A SOCIAL ride at a steady pace. Out and back through the Mersey Tunnel, lights are ESSENTIAL. We will be visiting Nets Cafe which overlooks Burton Marshes and the River Dee and then on to New Brighton for a coffee / ice cream, along the Wallasey water front with great views of the Liverpool waterfront.
Please note the Eureka cafe is still open (although up for sale) , not closed as previously published.

Meet at the Ainsdale Police Station for a 9.00. am. start. Expect be back about 4.00.pm.

Up and down the Coast Road (Weld Road to Pontins and back). Prizes for the best decorated bike and rider.

The annual New Year’s Day mountain bike ride from the clubhouse through the Pinewoods to the Iron Men in Crosby and back via the Cheshire Lines path. Refreshments can be had at the Crosby food van.
Those with road bikes can take an alternative route to the Crosby iron men.
