Course  – Ashurst Beacon – Lees Lane to Prince William Pub.

Signing on from 9am to 9.45am – First rider starts at 10.05am

Medals to be presented after the event for fastest riders in various categories.

It’s a Type B ‘Club’ event and members of other local clubs are welcome to take part.

Parking near the start and at the finish restricted to Marshals and Timekeepers only

Freewheel Event

Meet: 9:00 am at the Banks stone and 9:30 am at the Tartleton lights.

Distance: Approximately 60 miles.

Saturday 23rd November 7pm.

Old Links Golf Club. Three course dinner with coffee and mints is subsidised at £20.00, £10.00 under 18s.

Howard Massam is taking names for this year. It is an opportunity to meet fellow members and support events winners.

Howard is at the clubhouse every Monday 7pm-8.30pm to take menu choices and payment.

MENU

Starters:

• Roasted mushroom soup

• Prawn and crab cocktail

• Chicken and brandy pate toasted ciabatta

Main course:

• Roast topside of beef with mushroom filled Yorkshire pudding, red wine glaze

• Fillet of salmon with asparagus sauce

• Butternut squash and lentil wellington

Deserts:

• Warm Bramley apple pie with vanilla ice cream

• Choux pastry buns with toffee and chocolate sauce
