Meet at 8:00 Clubhouse ; 8:15 Plough bus stop, Walton-le-Dale, Mellor, Ribchester for cafe break, Stoneyhurst, Longridge, home for around 2:30 pm.
Route is about 80 miles mostly flat apart from some lumps in the middle.
Feb 18th: The Ever Rising Road: A 45 mile flat ride, apart from the climb up the Ever Rising Road.

Another date for the diary is the club charity quiz night which is in aid of McMillan Cancer Support. It will be a mixture of cycling and general knowledge questions.
Individuals or teams of up to 3 can take part. Audience is to be made up of members, family and friends. Refreshments in the form of sandwiches and cakes.

A 55 mile ride with two climbs. Route: Club House 8:30, Ainsdale 8:45, Aughton, Rainford, Upholland, Ashurst Summit, Appley Bridge, Skull House, Cedar Farm, Home.
A 53 mile ride with two bumps in the middle. Route: Club House 8:30, Plough 8:45,Tarleton, Leyland, Brindle, Abbey Village, Brinscall, The Shed (Coffee)., Euxton, Home.
It’s that time of year again with the club’s weekly Time Trial series starting on Thursday with first rider off at 6:45 pm.
As always we are looking for help to run theses events in the form of marshalls and helpers. If you can help once a week, once a month or once a year it would be much appreciated.

A 105 mile ride (from the Plough) which follows the route of the former Bill Bradley ride. A flat ride to Scorton, followed by a section of 3 climbs which include Jubilee Tower and Waddington Fell. Thereafter, a steady ride through the Trough to Preston and flat all the way thereafter. Two café stops.
This will be a steady ride, with regrouping at the tops of climbs etc.

Constable Dan Holdsworth of the Merseyside Police Traffic Division will be attending the club to update members of the current plans/actions the Force are taking in reducing cycling related accidents/collision on our roads.
In the interests of our club could as many members please make an effort to attend if you are available.
It will coincide with the monthly Forum.
