DESCRIPTION:Chorley Cycling Club 2 up TT – 21 st May 2026\nCourse: D33/10 \nStart Time 19:00 (sign on opens 18:00\, closes 18:45) \nHeadquarters\nMere Brow Village Hall\n86 The Gravel\nMere Brow\nPreston\nPR4 6JX \nSign on will be located at the rear of the Village Hall. £10 per team *Cash only\,\nwith all profits being donated to Derian House Children’s Hospice.\nParking available\, so please do not park on the main road.\nPlease note\, there are no changing facilities. Please arrive race ready. Toilets\nare available at the HQ. \nEVENT IS MAX 50 TEAMS OF 2 \nCOMPETITOR’S NOTES\nRoad Bikes or TT Bikes are both acceptable for this event.\nSign on/off\nEach competitor must sign on when collecting and returning their race\nnumbers at the HQ. Any rider not signing off within a reasonable time of the\nfinish of the event will be recorded as DNF. Any rider under 18 will require a\nparental consent form\nNumbers\nBack numbers must be worn for the event. Numbers must be fixed to the\nlower back area. There will be number checkers on the course. Any rider \nOFFICIAL \nwhose number is not visible to the timekeeper and checkers may not be given\na finishing time. Make sure you shout your number at the finish.\nLights\nA front and read light is required on each bike – no exceptions \nStart/Finish line \nStart is approx. 2 miles away from the HQ\, at Fear.Lives.Clay (What 3 words)\nRiders must not make ‘U’ turns within sight of start and finish. Any rider\nobserved making a ‘U’ turn in contravention of this regulation could be\ndisqualified from the event. \nNo pusher off at the start\, teams to set off under their own power\, carefully\,\nchecking traffic coming from behind – do not pull out dangerously into traffic. \nTeams \nTeams of 2 to wear the same or similar coloured clothing.\nDo not use TRI Bars whilst navigating roundabouts\, which you will encounter\non 5 occasions.\nIndividuals must stay within 3 metres of their partner at all times\, unless\nunsafe to do so. \nDrafting from other teams is not allowed.\nGive way to traffic on the right at roundabouts. \nNo lights or no helmet = no ride.\nThis is non-negotiable. \nPlease see CTT Regulations 14 e\, and 14 f; Competitors General Equipment\nRequirements.
