Dolan SCC Youth Races This Saturday 28/03/26

Thanks again to all the club members who have volunteered to help with the Dolan SCC youth races this Saturday. Please aim to arrive at the clubhouse between 8.00 and 9.00 am. The races begin just after 9.00.

We will start setting up the race circuit from 8.00 am. This involves putting out crash pads and erecting a gazebo.

Once the races begin, it will involve marshalling part of the circuit, in case of any incidents or a fall, and to liaise with members of the public to keep the racing area safe.

The weather forecast is cold and breezy, so warm clothes are advised. Tea, coffee, sandwiches, and cake will be provided.

Finish time is usually 1.30pm.

The club are once again organising a set of youth races on Saturday 28th March in Victoria Park. Helpers will be needed throughout the day. Circuit marshalls, gear check, timing chip collection amongst other roles.

Event HQ is the LOWER Car Park about 400 metres before the finish.

It’s a type B event, so members of other clubs are welcome to have a go.

There will be medals!

Entry on the line £5 to cover CTT levy.

We promoted an Open 15 mile TT and an Open 10 Mile TT, as well as 8 evening ‘Club’ 10’s.
